PS4 Sold 4.2 Million Consoles in 2013

Both the Xbox One and PS4 are doing great when it comes to sales numbers.  Many users get upset when numbers are bought up, but it has a lot less to do with console wars and a lot more about the health of gaming.

During Sony’s keynote at CES 2014 in Las Vegas Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House announced updated worldwide sales numbers for the PS4.
Sony’s new console sold through (meaning to customers) 4.2 million units since its North American launch on November 15th until December the 28th, marking an extremely successful launch despite the situation of the economy, that can’t exactly be defined positive. For the sake of comparison Microsoft announced yesterday that it sold 3 million Xbox Ones before the end of 2013. DualShockers
